- a continuous RSS feed is combined with an updating stock chart
- the RSS feed includes a teaser and a link to a FTD online article

Markets Extension
adding links on stock graph picturetechnical info:
- flash extension of an existing markets module
- every few minutes a new picture of the updating DAX chart is shown on the FTD homepage
- the swf loads this picture and adds links to current online articles
- the picture of the chart is changing constantly, to place the link the swf analyses the
colours of the picture and places the marker on the red or green pixels of the curve
- content and settings are changed by an XML file
